Swami Vivekanand
Swami Vivekanand (1863-1902) was a renowned Indian Hindu monk and philosopher who introduced Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. CSVTU is named in his honor, embodying his vision of technical education combined with moral and spiritual values.

He is married to Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti. As the Chancellor of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, he provides visionary leadership and guidance to the institution.
